Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work with a team of seasoned talent scouts to identify and onboard “A” players for our expanding team (current size: 550+) across our multiple offices and functions. We have been doubling in headcount year after year. Your task will be to devise and execute creative recruitment strategies for continuing this growth pace while maintaining our high standards of quality.
You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of recruitment, including strategy, sourcing, short-listing, pitching, communication, coordination, scheduling and negotiation. You will be required to execute myriad sourcing strategies conventional and unconventional, online and offline, and will have the creative license to adopt any approach as long as it is within the confines of our value system . You will be our brand ambassador, and evangelise Directi to potential candidates.

You have an innate ability to spot talent, the gift of the gab and the charisma of a young Keanu Reeves. You leave no stone unturned in filling a position, and have been known to adopt creative sourcing techniques to find the right match. You firmly believe that an organization is only as good as its people, always have your recruitment hat on, and are always on the lookout for “A” players.
You are internet-savvy, understand the technology space well and can leverage the web effectively to assist your search. You understand that Talent acquisition is the most important role within an organization, and you possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and the required sales and marketing chops to convince top performers to join our organization.

General Requirements
Age: 25 or lesser

Experience: 1-3 years of volume hiring. Candidates that have proven experience in managing requirements in large numbers will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifying any bugs/issues in the system and assisting in their resolution.

Requirement Specification

General Requirements

• Age: 27 or lesser
• Experience: 0-3 years in Customer Service or similar capacity, preferably on an IT platform
• Educational Qualifications
  • Graduate from any stream.
  • Any Engineering, or BSc (IT or Computers) preferred.
• Technical skills (Minimum required)

o        Networking basics.

o        DNS basics.

o        Basic Linux/Windows Servers administration skills.

o        Knowledge about Apache, IIS web servers.

o        Knowledge about Proftpd, IIS FTP servers.

o        Knowledge about IIS SMTP, Sendmail, qmail, postfix mail servers.

o        Knowledge about FTP/HTTP/SMTP/POP/IMAP protocols.

o        Prior experience with web/mail hosting support.

o        Troubleshooting ASP/PHP/ASP DOT NET server side scripts.

o        Mail clients POP/IMAP/SMTP configuration and troubleshooting.

Detailed Requirements

o        Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

o        Ability to solve complex problems quickly, inventively and resourcefully.

o        Good working knowledge of computers and the Internet; strong ability to develop new skills.

o        Strong customer interaction skills and ability to work in a variety of customer situations.

o        Should be able to provide project foresight in tracking, interpreting and resolving issues and aiding software implementation.

o        Strong attention to detail.

o        Avid Internet User, with strong inclination towards technology.

o        Highly motivated and energetic team player, with excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Accounting processes of a predetermined set of Business Units/Products/Expense
  Categories
  • Passing accounting entries
  • Preparing and reviewing reconciliation statements (Bank, Debtors, Creditors and any other (ledgers)
  • Performing audit tests on payroll and ascertaining the deductions
  • Assisting in finalization of accounts and tax audits
  • Assisting in preparing and filing of income tax returns
• Banking tasks
• Compliance tasks
  • Preparing relevant reports for submission to STPI, Customs other Govt. Authorities.
  • Taxation compliance routine tasks eg e-TDS, FBT, PT, Advance Tax calculation etc
  • ROC formalities and submissions
  • RBI formalities and submissions
  • Licensing formalities eg Shop and Establishment, Customs Bonding, STPI and other similar Licenses
• Updating the Fixed Assets register as and when required
• Other Accounting Responsibilities

Requirements

• Age: 30 or lesser

Experience

• 3 years experience in maintaining books of accounts, preferably in an IT company
• Should have attended at least one finalization of company accounts including tax audit

Educational Qualification

• Minimum B.com Graduate
• Additional qualifications would be an added advantage.

Detailed Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of various fundamentals and concepts of book keeping and accounting
• Good knowledge of Tally 5.4, MS Office and general computer operation
• Working knowledge of Income Tax Act, Companies Act, FEMA, various Accounting Standards
• Working Knowledge of STPI and Customs formalities.
• Working knowledge of payroll processing and taxation aspects of the same.
• Honesty and integrity is a must.
• Should have an eye for details
• Team player and self motivated person.
• Should have ability and willingness to guide and assist peers and subordinates

Caterers – Taj Caterers

Menu – Vegetarian packed lunch

Here is what we ate and my ratings on each of them (Out of 10)

A preparation of chana dal and spinach which was really yummy-  8/10

Paneer in white sauce (because I dont know what else to call it!) which had what seemed like raw pieces of paneer tossed into it - 2/10

Vegetable Kadai which was mixture of peas, french beans et al in a spicy red gravy – 6/10

Steamed Rice was cooked well though I didn’t quite get the semi boiled gram that was stuck into it as decoration – 5/10

Chapattis which were soft and tasty – 8/10

Gulab Jamun which was semi cooked from the inside and completely without shape! - 3/10

Packaging  and Presentation- 8/10
