Job Description

As a Web Solutions Specialist with Directi, you will be the company’s first point of contact with its entire client base, determining problems or difficulties encountered with our products and resolving them.
Job Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting, Resolving all Technical issues related to our software and the range of Products and Services it provisions.
- Interacting with clients via. Live chat, Web-based systems, On line forums and Telephone to resolve their problems and gather feedback.
- Testing & Analysis of all products & services.
- Identifying any bugs/issues in the system and assisting in their resolution.
- Recording, tracking and reporting problem activity.
- Building Strategies to improve efficiency, profitability and quality of service.
- Reviewing existing Product/Feature documentation; publish documentation in internal Knowledge bases.
Requirement Specification
General Requirements
- Age: 27 or lesser
- Experience: 0-3 years in Customer Service or similar capacity, preferably on an IT platform
- Educational Qualifications
- Graduate from any stream.
- Any Engineering, or BSc (IT or Computers) preferred.
- Technical skills (Minimum required)
o Networking basics.
o DNS basics.
o Basic Linux/Windows Servers administration skills.
o Knowledge about Apache, IIS web servers.
o Knowledge about Proftpd, IIS FTP servers.
o Knowledge about IIS SMTP, Sendmail, qmail, postfix mail servers.
o Knowledge about FTP/HTTP/SMTP/POP/IMAP protocols.
o Prior experience with web/mail hosting support.
o Troubleshooting ASP/PHP/ASP DOT NET server side scripts.
o Mail clients POP/IMAP/SMTP configuration and troubleshooting.
Detailed Requirements
o Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to solve complex problems quickly, inventively and resourcefully.
o Good working knowledge of computers and the Internet; strong ability to develop new skills.
o Strong customer interaction skills and ability to work in a variety of customer situations.
o Should be able to provide project foresight in tracking, interpreting and resolving issues and aiding software implementation.
o Strong attention to detail.
o Avid Internet User, with strong inclination towards technology.
o Highly motivated and energetic team player, with excellent interpersonal skills
