Looking back at the Christmas season, all I can say is that it was indeed a very Merry Christmas
Here are some pics from the season
My Grandpa always made a crib to herald in the Christ child and us making it every year is a tribute to his memory.
The kids from the area got together and came around caroling. They sang their hearts out with great gusto. Good going everyone!
After a long time the folks from 4, Jo-Liza went around caroling and B agreed to be our mascot ….. and an ENTERTAINING one is was! Thank you for all the rib tickling antics
B was willing to take on the snowman in a sequel to “Santa v/s the Snowman”
I had the idea and Aunty Lyn very artistically followed instructions and what we got was a lovely snowman - lantern.
You could try it too. You will need two Chinese lanterns of different sizes. One for the head and the other for the body. An old scarf or a length of felt. Markers in red and black.
As is Christmas the family went for mass and after that, there was a photo session to add to the collection of family pictures along with reminiscences over cake and coffee.
Some of my cuzzies from my Mum’s side of the family …… its lovely to know that we have grown so close over the years inspite of the geographical distance.
….. no comments on this one…….
After an eventful morning that consisted of last minute sweet making (we were attempting to copy A. Vinita’s dainty marzipan fruits …… A. Lyn came the closest!) , me breaking a glass jar and Ajay helping with the lunch …… we sat down ….finally to a yummy lunch and dessert.
….. and finally came the prezzies under the Christmas tree …….
The man himself with all the wrapping and the presents
Thank you so much for spending Christmas with us.
I think the two “babies” of the family ended up with the most presents.
And finally here’s hoping that you all had a very Merry Christmas!
