Sunday with Shrek!

We had plans to go for Pirates of the Caribbean on the 27th but Ajay was hugely disappointed when we realised that the movie was releasing only on the first - the day he was moving to Pune. The same was the case of Shrek.

However there was a paid preview of Shrek 3 at Fame in Andheri. I really wanted to see the movie and Ajay came along (inspite of the vehement insistence that he would not come) He booked the tickets online as we were not sure we would get hold of the tickets any other way.

Met him at the station and made it to the theater in good time. Picked up the tickets and waited in the food court for the doors to open. There was this really cute set up of Shrek, Fiona et al., as well as a guy dressed up in a Shrek suit. All i wanted was a picture of me with the figures …… but that was not meant to be. I was reminded that I shouldn’t regress to the mental age of a child!

It was my first experience at one of the Fame theaters (I prefer watching movies in town) and I wasn’t impressed at all.

We went back to Ajay’s place to kill some time as we had plans for dinner.

We rode to Santacruz to Dynasty. It is this Chinese eatery. Ajay ordered as he was familiar with the place (yup he took all his ex girlfriends there) I enjoyed the food. I think I found another place that I am going to enjoy Chinese at (5 Spice will always be my first love)

It was late and the man had course work to finish before he went to bed so I took the bus home. It sure was an evening to remember.
